About

The National Owners Association (NOA) is an independent, self-funded advocacy group of “Owners-Serving-Owners” on the most crucial issues – Financial, Franchising, and Relationship.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to collaborate with all 3 legs of the stool and key stakeholders to positively impact The System for the benefit of the Owners, our employees, customers, the brand and ultimately the shareholders.

Our Mission

To unify and engage Owners to restore Owner-led culture, while assuring positive net cash flow growth, financial viability and protection from intimidation and retribution. We are committed to inspiring all Owners to provide a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.

5 Areas Of Focus

The NOA has created 5 new committees that will focus on these strategic priorities:

1

Advocacy

The NOA is the Umbrella Advocacy Body for the Owner/Franchisee community. We represent and advocate for every Owner/Franchisee. Providing a mechanism for Owners/Franchisees to confidentially register their concerns, grievances and inappropriate conduct aired against them by any McDonald’s executive or employee will drive our efforts and actions to stop these destructive practices.

Committee LeadArt Alamo

2

Legislative
Engagement

The NOA is developing a legislative agenda and strategy. Engaging with the firm MultiState and multiple franchise associations, we will develop relationships with lobbyists and well as legislatures and create grass root tactics to support Owners/Franchisees.

Committee LeadBarry Traub

3

Leadership
Development

The NOA will facilitate leadership development workshops for the Owner/ Franchisee body. Peers and advisors will create and host seminars on business acumen, how to successfully operate a McDonald’s restaurant and how to become an effective and influential leader. Together we will build our bench of talent for future Owner/Franchisee leadership.
