Urge Congress to Provide Economic Relief

Dear Fellow NOA Members,

As many of you know, the Administration and Congress are working on the third COVID-19 economic package that would inject approximately $1 trillion into the U.S. economy.
Due to the unprecedented impact of the outbreak, we are advocating for the restaurant industry, as detailed in the attached analysis "Economic Relief Proposals" we are requesting from Congress. Provisions include:
  1. Assist impacted employees - with a restaurant employee and business stabilization fund ($150B)
  2. Expand Unemployment Insurance for impacted employees.
  3. Provide financial liquidity to struggling businesses, and...
  4. Continue to stimulate the economy.

Please click on the gold button to contact your Members of Congress and urge them to include relief for restaurant employees and owners in the next round of funding. Elected officials need to hear directly from you and understand the impact that the recent events have had on your business and employees. Please note the two different tabs for the Senate and House and include the Chief of Staff, Legislative Director and State Director on your note to each office.
Also attached is a sample e-mail template for your outreach. That can be found in the second gold button.
You may also confirm your U.S. House of Representative by visiting www.house.gov and searching by zip code. You can confirm your U.S. Senator by visiting www.senate.gov.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank You.
