Growing up in humble beginnings and with brothers who taught her to be tough, Teri knew she had to fight for the life she wanted. Starting in mortgage sales at an early age she quickly rose to the top, where she met the love of her life, Mike. Empowered and ready to take on the world, Teri then launched into her successful journey in the business sector.
Teri started her career with McDonald's as a registered applicant out of the Northwest. Teri became a Franchisee in 2000; she and her husband Mike purchased restaurants in Des Moines, Iowa. As an owner/operator, Teri served in several leadership positions until her and Mike's retirement at the end of 2018. Teri received a call from the NOA in 2019 to join the team and was excited for an opportunity to stay involved in the McDonald's world while simultaneously helping other Operators. She brings to us an expansive background in banking, finance, communications, and business management. Her insights and connections as a previous owner is a valuable resource to the NOA.
Teri, Mike, and their dog, Parker, live in a 1940’s remodeled farmhouse in Iowa. Teri enjoys the outdoors, travel, and watching football. She is detail orientated, 3 legged stool focused, and always thinking ahead.
